Workshops · For women and non-binary people
I am not a trained engineer. I have built production software with AI anyway, and I have the mistakes to prove it. These are small, hands-on vibe coding workshops for women and non-binary people. Come as you are, no experience needed, and leave with something you built yourself.
Sessions
The first evening is set for Tuesday 8 December at Rixey Manor. Dates and venues for the others are being confirmed. Register your interest and you hear first, before tickets go on general sale.

What you do
Included
Bring a laptop and charger. Claude Pro is not included in the ticket: see what to budget.
What to budget
Budget about $20 on top of the ticket for an evening, and up to about $40 for the full day. No surprises on the night.
Claude Pro
$20 for one month
Required. This is what runs Claude Code, and the free Claude plan does not include it. You can cancel after the workshop if you do not keep building.
Extra Claude usage
$0, or up to about $20
Most beginners stay inside the Pro limits for an evening. On the full day a heavy builder might hit the limit; you can turn on extra usage with a spending cap you set, or simply take a break while it resets.
Hosting, code storage and a database
$0
Everything we use on the night has a free tier. A site you later run for a business may cost up to about $20 a month to keep online.
Your own web address
Optional, about $10 to $20 a year
Only if you want your project at a name of your own.
Prices checked September 2026. Claude Pro is $17 a month if you pay for a year.
The room
Free diversity tickets
For women and non-binary people who work or volunteer with LGBTQ+ organisations, women’s charities or homelessness charities, who are part of the communities those charities serve, or for whom the ticket price is the only thing in the way.
Tick the box on the form and tell us a little about why. You never need to share anything you are not comfortable with. Nobody else at the event will know who has one.
Register your interest
No payment now. Isadora emails you personally when dates and venues are confirmed, and people on this list get first pick of seats.
Questions
Yes. Isadora Martin-Dye runs vibe coding workshops for women and non-binary people: an evening at Rixey Manor near Culpeper on Tuesday 8 December 2026 at $150, evenings in Washington, DC, Fredericksburg and Charlottesville in January 2027 at $250, and a full day at Rixey Manor in Virginia in spring 2027. The other dates are being confirmed, and you can register your interest now.
No. The evenings are built for people who have never written code. If you have already built something, say so on the form so the helpers know where to start you.
Building working software by describing what you want to an AI tool in plain English, then testing and adjusting what it makes. You still make every decision. The AI does the typing.
You need Claude Pro, which is $20 for a month and includes Claude Code. The free Claude plan does not. Hosting, code storage and a database all have free tiers for what we build. Budget about $20 for an evening and up to about $40 for the full day, in case you want extra usage.
A laptop and its charger, with Claude Pro set up. The setup course walks you through it before the day.
Yes. Every session keeps up to 3 free diversity tickets for women and non-binary people connected to LGBTQ+, women’s or homelessness charities, or for whom the price is the only thing in the way. Ask on the interest form.
Women and non-binary people. It is a deliberately small, welcoming room where nobody has to prove they belong.
If the roads are not safe, the session moves to the following week and your ticket carries over.
Yes. Private workshops for company teams run for 3 hours or a full day. See isadoraandco.com/speaker/teams.
