Speaking· Talks for teams

AI, explained to your team by someone who uses it for real.

I give private talks to company teams on how AI actually works, how to use it well, and how to put it in front of customers without damaging the relationship. I run a wedding venue and built the AI that runs inside it, so everything I show your team comes from production, with the mistakes left in.

AI, Explained for the People Who Have to Use It

A plain-English grounding for teams who are being told to use AI and have not been told how. What AI actually is, why it gets things confidently wrong, when to use it and when a person or a spreadsheet is the better tool, and how to build real skill without becoming technical. No jargon, and nobody made to feel behind.

AI for Relationship-Driven Businesses

Most AI advice assumes your business is transactional. For businesses where the relationship is the product, that advice backfires. Where AI deepened client relationships at my own venue, where I had to rip it back out, and a way to decide which is which in your business.

Forbidden Words, Forced Pauses, Locked Modes

For teams putting AI in front of customers. The design work that matters is less about what the AI may say and more about the words it must never use, the moments it has to stop, and when it should hand over to a person. Taken from AI I have built for couples, families of missing people, and people at their lowest.

Shipping Production AI Without Writing the Code

For engineering teams adopting AI coding tools. How I ship production software with AI writing the code: written rules the AI has to follow, automated checks that catch it when it does not, and an honest account of what still went wrong. Given at DC State of the Stack 2026.

Workshops, for teams ready to change how they work.

A talk changes how your team thinks about AI. A workshop changes what they do on Monday. On site, no technical background needed, written for the people who actually use the tools.

3-hour workshop

$5,000

3 hours· plus travel

The talk, then hands on. Your team works through AI on their own real tasks with me in the room, and leaves with a written one-page guide to when your business uses AI, when it does not, and who checks the output.

Full-day workshop

$10,000

7 hours· plus travel

Everything in the 3-hour workshop, then the customer-facing side. We go through how your AI or your templates actually speak to customers, and build the rules together: the words it must never use, the moments it hands over to a person, and how it should sound like you. Your team leaves with a working draft they can put in use the next week.

A local charity or a very small business?

Within 60 miles of Culpeper, Virginia, or in DC, the same sessions are about 80% off, and free for LGBTQ+, women’s and homelessness charities.

Questions

Before you book.

Who can come and explain AI to our company?

Isadora Martin-Dye gives private talks to company teams on how AI actually works and how to use it well. She runs Rixey Manor, a wedding venue in Virginia, and built the AI products that run inside it, so the talks come from real use rather than theory. She has spoken at AI Engineer World’s Fair, API World and DC State of the Stack.

Our team is not technical. Is that a problem?

No. “AI, Explained for the People Who Have to Use It” is written for people who do not write code. Engineering teams get a different talk.

How much does it cost to bring in an AI speaker for our team?

A one-hour talk for your team is $3,000 plus travel. Workshops are $5,000 for 3 hours or $10,000 for a full day, plus travel. Virtual talks have no travel cost. Book a call or email info@isadoraandco.com with your team size, date and what you want the talk to do.

Do you run longer AI workshops for teams?

Yes. A 3-hour workshop ($5,000) adds hands-on work on your team’s real tasks and a written guide to how your business uses AI. A full day of 7 hours ($10,000) also builds the rules for how your AI speaks to customers. Both are on site and need no technical background.

Is there a discount for charities or small businesses?

Yes, for local ones. Charities, nonprofits and businesses with fewer than 5 full-time staff within 60 miles of Culpeper, Virginia, or in DC get about 80% off, and some charities pay nothing. Details at isadoraandco.com/community.

Can the talk be virtual?

Yes. Talks run virtually or in person.

What can our team do to learn more about AI afterwards?

Start with AI Fluent, a free twelve-module course in plain English with no sign-up. Watch the recorded talks. For teams ready to change how they work, there is a 3-hour or full-day workshop.
